Joel Eddington is a Vancouver based magician who's been amazing audiences since the age of twelve. His primary focus is close-up, creating immersive moments of astonishment with cards, coins, & borrowed objects. He has performed on TV/web advertisements & has consulted; teaching actors & directors how to perform magical effects. He has entertained at the Shangri La, The Vancouver Club, Science World, & numerous event spaces around the province. Joel has worked for a lot of companies including the cast of Riverdale, WorkSafe BC, The Westin Bayshore, Canadian Western Bank, Seaspan, China Eastern Airlines, Remax, & many more...

As the world has changed due to Covid 19, Joel adjusted the way in which he works, by creating a professional studio to directly connect with his audience. Next, combining his Degree in Film Studies & performance experience, he utilized expert lighting, crisp video, the strongest computer/internet processing power to showcase unique sleight of hand. This contemporary form of entertainment allows Joel to show you a new form of magic that is only possible virtually. Joel is available for corporate event entertainment, Zoom parties, birthdays, magic lessons, & more.

The Gulf Islands are a haven for all kinds of art, so it’s not surprising that Joel’s Saltspring roots nurtured his magic. Joel was born & raised in woods full of magic & wonder, surrounded by creativity & encouragement. With no traffic jams and plenty of free parking, it was a stress-free environment that allowed him to study, learn and hone his performance. Seeking a change of pace & a larger audience, Joel moved to Vancouver, BC – still firmly connected to his Saltspring paradise.
